  1. Once had a woman on the subway start shouting at me that I was "taking too much space on purpose and trying to impose on her". When I explained that I was doing no such thing I was told to stop mansplaining/manspreading and to scoot over. I was already taking as little space as I physically could, but she just wouldn't hear it. She just couldn't wrap her head around the fact that as a man my shoulders were just naturally wider than hers, no, it had to be because I was dead set on oppressing as many women as possible on my way to work
