  1. Essence in Sartrean terms is the product of living. That our experiences from the beginning of our lives have cultivated a unique sense of the self with a beginning, middle, and end.

  2. Philosophy is a sand castle. From the imagination back to the imagination. With each idea and concept the sand castle gets washed away and built again. In the end we settle on nihilism upon realizing its only a sand castle until the tide sets in. Spirituality is a phenomenon of the individual that gets it energy from the collective. We all have this inclination and in numbers it becomes real for us .The Spiritualist would say essence precedes existence but the self aware logician would beg to differ . The reality is both .Paradoxically meeting the criteria for phenomenon. All contingencies and intentionalities met for the existentialist. Everything applies both to the individual as well as the collective as object to object and subject to subject. So you see why we end up in nihilism.

  3. Scraps Cartesian Dualism for a self=world, world = self, philosophical concept. Intentionality is not necessarily a component of the will apart from the world but as living being morphed into a collective consciousness between subjective and objective interactions.
