Did you keep a written journal, or diary, of your days in the IDF? I do admire that you have posted these details. I would say if the United States government was providing economic and military aid to Israel at the time, and it was, then it did care then and continues to do so. And take care not to look like someone plying consciences to have them take your chosen burdens from you. You're welcome to take a break in the United States. But in America there is growing resentment of foreign aid in a large sector of the public that sees a government careening into ever increasing debt. I think the United States will continue to provide military aid to Israel, and, per treaty, a qualitative military superiority to Israel over its neighbors. I think Israel survives all of this tragedy. Thanks for a great post.

@veluccivelluccimusiker4340 I think justice requires detailed property records for each parcel of land. A lack of property records in these times is in itself an injustice. Due process and courts may not eliminate all hate and violence, because there are other sources of hate. But we should be able to face all Palestinians and tell them their claims have been justly settled, that they have had their day in court. Same for Israelis. Meanwhile we also work on the other sources of hate, those who finance instability, and religious imperialism.

@melissadeloach8503 Financed public relations. Question is where the financing comes from. Seems to be mostly Iranian money. Underlying motive? My guess is that it is about propping up oil prices and maximizing market share. Wealth secures elites. They may share Islam, but they want to strengthen their respective financial positions so they can secure their wealth. Islam for them is mostly a tool. Maybe they are sincere in faith, maybe not. But power and victory are addictive.
