  1. Ukraine and the West must plan as if Russia will maintain an enduring interest in assimilating Ukraine. The conflict may range from a significant covert subversion campaign along with attempts to bribe Ukrainian officials to a repeat of the 2022 invasion. And Russia must see a plan being implemented that will result in their paying dearly for any level of interference in Ukraine. But it is a good recommendation that Western journalism should not provide free or otherwise any support of the Russian narrative against Ukraine.
