Putin looked at the rise of China and realized Russia needs more people and power. He thought he might get that from Ukraine. That is not working out. Now Russia will face China weaker than ever. Putin thinks Xi is his friend. Xi is smiling in Putin's face. Putin is leading Russia into self-defeat . . . again.

@austinechinedu480 No I think Russia had an improving economy through oil and gas and mineral sales all over the world and they threw it away on delusions of grandeur.

@austinechinedu480 China asserts it is an "Arctic Power." I am saying China is for China, and Russia cannot assume China is a friend. I think Mr. Putin understands ethnocentrism enough to know that. Through decades of purges and systematic strengthening of its internal security forces, Russia has created a populace with a greater incidence of psychopathy. This is evident in its treatment of its neurotypical citizens through propaganda and fear, and its war crimes toward foreign peoples. (I am not saying other nations avoid this issue, but that Russia has, like North Korea, taken the notions of psychopaths to extremes.) The fear in millions of its people undermines its overall rates of creativity and productivity. Blessed with enviable amounts of natural resources, the regime nevertheless so crushes the spirit of its people, and so wastes its wealth on war, that it sets up the cycle of abandonment, apathy, and despair that will leave it underpopulated and thus far weaker than it could be. It would be natural for psychopathic forces in China to exploit that weakness. The catastrophic fall of the Soviet Union is evidence of this tendency of the Russian ruling class. Russia seems headed in a similar direction at this time.

@kishanchali8752 Go ahead, tell us about Russia's real production economy: oil, gas, minerals, grain, fertilizer, military equipment, etc. Please type a list with today's outputs vs a year ago. Plenty of room on YouTube. Here's your chance to tell the world the truth. YouTube won't take that kind of data down.

@mtsenskmtsensk5113 That's a story I have heard several times. That's a story others have composed rebuttals to. Is it rational to sacrifice even more Russian soldiers, outside of Russian jurisdiction, for those who are already dead? How does Russia so easily sacrifice its young for its leader's delusions? It is because, without living in Ukraine yourself that you might verify the facts, you assert the story you are told over and over again? It's a story, not a fact. The facts are harder to determine. But when delusion captivates a country and it sends its young to war, there is nothing for those invaded to do but fight back while they can, and Ukraine can fight back. Do you believe your young Russian men are killing and being killed by young Ukrainian men? Do you have any sense of loss about this? Stop bombing Ukraine. Withdraw to the internationally recognized borders of Russia, and save the young men of both countries. Truth matters. It can be hard to find. Try to find it.
