Hear, hear.

There is much truth to this. Putin can wait for November and then hang on until inauguration day.

That's a rather clever tactic. Say the weapon is a failure. Russia chuckles. Russia scratches its head at its increase in losses.

Follow the money.

Not easily. His base would support changing the Constitution, but they don't have 3/4 of the States to do that. His base might start to help him violently rescind the Constitution, but I think most them would become aghast at what that means for their own people and prosperity. There are Americans that are that deluded. We saw them on January 6th. They also saw they are not as big a group as they think they are, but they do not like to admit that.

NOT giving Ukraine permission to use Allied weapons on tactically and logistically necessary military targets in Russia extends the war and increases Ukrainian losses. If Ukraine hits the right targets this war starts to culminate. No, it's not just Jake Sullivan, because if it is, we have set aside democratic teamwork for autocracy. Jake should be representing the careful work of the National Security Council. It seems there are influences at work here in the United States that have decided that ultimately, if necessary, Ukraine is expendable. These influences have only the slightest willingness to take the slightest risks to bring about a settlement in Ukraine. I do not know what influence European nations have on these US influences, but I commend the head of NATO for calling for freeing Ukraine's hands to culminate this conflict. Ukraine's capabilities are not limitless over time. They are already strained and must be allowed to act for their best interests in the months ahead.

The young, ladder climbing goons in the FSB. Putin has money and positions to hand out. Taking care of the hit men is a principle of the business.

That's why the exit is a window.

I hope I am wrong, but I don't think the F-16 is flying sorties in Ukraine until this fall. Not much point in using them if the pilots don't know how to best use them. USAF pilots take a year to get through the first level of training just on the F-16, and there are levels above that training that the Ukrainian pilots are going to need or it just will not go well. It makes sense that they would transfer to Europe for higher level training. Israel needs to understand that the 2000lb glide bombs need to go to Ukraine.

Ukraine might want to consider a shorter and more defendable border in the east. That also means taking Crimea back and taking the Kerch bridge out. That bridge has facilitated the Russian war effort and it has to go.

Putin does look at his assets and the calendar. He's escalating by hitting more civilian targets in Ukraine, hinting he will just keep wrecking the country.

We want you at the table.

Now THAT'S a blessing and a prayer.

Ukraine should look at optimizing the defense of its borders. Crimea and the Kerch bridge empower Russia in Ukraine with redundant logistics. That has to change or the armistice line is just too long.

If the Russian economy gets bad enough, Putin might be willing to sell Kaliningrad. They sold Alaska when they were in a financial bind.
1
They are letting Putin process the process and watching his responses. His response is bombing civilian targets in Kharkiv.

I would hope IFF implementation has been ongoing.
