Steering American dollars away from other world markets to these producers will help fellow Americans while putting additional down pressure on the Ural price, accelerating Russia's decline in ability to conduct war. India and China have already stocked up. It's a perfect storm of trouble for Putin. President Biden can say he's ready to sign the deal just as soon as all the other Republican demands are ready to sign, like aid to Ukraine. By doing that he invites the small oil lobby to pressure Congress. How could a speaker from oil loving Louisiana say no to that? Prices are gonna go so low who would care if the gasoline excise tax went up 3 cents a gallon to help pay for it all? We can roll that back when the prices go back up.
