  3.  @TheGreatOne-gw7xh  While some view the war in Ukraine as a way to weaken Russia, like SECDEF Austin, China may look at the war in Ukraine as a way to weaken the United States and other supporters of Taiwan. I would expect China to be carefully gauging its own capabilities as well as those of Taiwan and its supporters to identify the opportune time for an invasion if it truly seeks to do so. This is how significant conflict in one area of the world can enable conflict in another area.
