  1. If he is leaving Bakhmut, it may be because some of his revenue is being shut off. It would make sense for him to return to Africa, where he might have revenue streams that don't depend on Putin to pay his men. He's got to pay his men or he's toast. If he's a smart man, he's got cache's of money and weapons here and there. Or he's withdrawing to bargain and regroup.
