  1. The West has been shown short on counter-battery systems with an insufficient ability to produce new systems. The plan must have been airpower would do half the job. Ukraine does not have that airpower. I have heard that up to 70 percent of Ukrainian casualties are due to artillery. Granted, it will be a long time before Russia can again use artillery to the extent they have in this war. But years from now, they will be coming with almost all new artillery systems. The West needs to get ready for that. Chechen commander reaches new heights of hypocrisy.
