Note how all the security services at the rally are well equipped. Not so much the Russian army.

All the cops seem well equipped and trained. But they are not going to sent them, are they?

@nestorlevkovych2365 I am not sure "sympathize" is the right word that describes the comment, because sympathy includes agreement. First you have to imagine the transformation he experienced as a soldier himself. I have been an airman and a soldier, but not to the extent he has. We can have "empathy" without agreeing with what Russian soldiers are doing. What he writes raises my confidence in Ukrainian leadership and the Ukrainian soldier v. the Russian. Notice how well equipped the Russian police are compared to the soldiers. Russian police seem pretty competent at maintaining control, keeping these young men at a disadvantage in most of the contexts we see. Interesting that these very competent policemen are not the ones being sent to the front.

This is good journalism, just the kind of inquiry into this conflict I have been looking for. Demonstrates how both sides use the concept of sacred places as a political tool. Perhaps that sounds harsh of me, but step back and ask is life about a particular place, or is it a journey to grow in love and justice? But it is not just for people to be summarily evicted in such short order and not be compensated. Ask the native Americans. If Israel is going to do ethnic cleansing like this, then they know it just stokes the conflict and they seem to accept that conflict. Who does the land belong to? It belongs to the stronger army that can hold it for some time. Islam started in a small space and expanded into an empire. Where it is powerful, it rules as it sees fit. This video takes place on a border between the Islamic empire and the Western empire. Perhaps the Palestinians in Jerusalem feel they have a particular role to play in the conflict, really quite beyond just standing up for the right to a particular place. They are there to face the West with their sense of justice. I see flawed humanity on both sides. Is God really so quiet in our hearts, that we should perceive Him so differently? Pray that God would assert His presence within all involved, because we are on a road to destruction without Him. I thank God for the courage of this journalist.
