@howardj602 You are right that I make an inference of sabotage, because as an engineer I see the possibility. That ship's systems need to be gone over meticulously. They might have failed almost anywhere else on the ship's journey of hundreds of hours with minimal consequences. That they failed when they did should raise suspicion. If they had failed three minutes sooner or later that ship would not have harmed the bridge. Global tensions are high with Ukraine, Gaza, Syria, and African conflicts. It is in our adversaries' interests to weaken the American economy as theirs are also being weakened by missiles strikes and sabotage, e.g. Russian oil refineries.
