  1. That's a fair balance between free speech and good order at an educational institution. The protesters violate good order with civil disobedience to get their message on the news. It's a flaw of journalism when it does not give attention to a large, peaceful assembly that has obtained permission to use the college stadium, which has plenty of room for lots of people. Universities can help themselves by making students aware of the proper avenues for assembly and petitioning the government and/or university administration for redress of grievances. States can help with plain clothes law enforcement tasked with identifying non-student actors inciting civil disobedience.
