The drunk guy in the truck who crossed the double yellow line and killed my daughter observed how her car just appeared in front of him. We are talking early death for some here, folks. How personal do the consequences of unrestrained freedom have to get before we agree to abide by a new law or rule or even a suggestion? Can we listen to others' stories and thereby avoid misfortune ourselves by restraining our freedom?
