  1. Musk and Vivek can just buy up government functions and turn them into profit centers or just permanently close them. Like air traffic controllers will get their pay cut and air traffic ticket fees will go up to raise profits. Their "efficiency" program is really about shopping for the best deals for them.

  6. That's right. President Trump can sign the bill that raises the debt ceiling. The ceiling didn't need to raised until June. So why bring it up now? So Joe Biden signs it or shuts down the government and Trump can say Biden did it. It's all about blaming the other guy.
