  1. We saw mixed results. For deserving people that did not get out, its a fail. For those that did, its a success. We did not see a C-17 and its passengers shot out of the sky. Senator Rubio got to the proper subject. Many others just see a partisan opportunity, and speak with as much hyperbole as Biden does sometimes. This is their chance to get the Kurds behind them, and their own role in Afghanistan. Nice try, but I see it. And when did a Republican since Gingrich care about balancing the budget? And is McConnell sure his debt ceiling stance won't come back to haunt in 2022 and 2024? Because he just might succeed in defeating programs to build up things here at home.
