  1. He needed a list of violated US Codes and then he could have offered that to be put into the record. You know, like Joe Friday used to rattle off chapter and verse of laws violated. With AOC you need a written list because she is just going to talk over you.

  2.  @paulweaver7074  I don't expect him to know off the top of his head either. But at some point in his involvement and preparations he needed to pin down what specific laws were broken and document it. That's how it works in my engineering profession. Nobody takes my word for it. They want to know what Code requires them to do what my plans say they need to do because its expensive. This guy could have had a lawyer or law clerk do the research for him. He looks unprepared and it erodes the case for impeachment. The committee is looking for somebody to do it for them. Makes them look unprepared as well.
