How shall we describe that group of voters that has edged out those who appreciate someone like Anne? And perhaps some of them do appreciate her thinking. Perhaps we drop her name on the YouTube pages they visit.

@BlueRaven-q2x Yes. But Canada spends less than 2% of its GDP on defense. It's not that the US itself is terribly hurt by that, but when a nation like Ukraine is in need of military support, Canada has less to offer than if it had annually made that 2% effort. The same can be said of Western European nations that lack military resources with which to support Ukraine. Look at Poland, spending over 4% of GDP on defense. Not only have they prudently assessed the Russian threat, but they have also realistically assessed their neighbors lack of interest in supporting the eastern border of Western Europe. The Arctic ice cap is diminishing. The US and Canada and Denmark and Scandanavia need to work together more than ever.
