  2. I think you should read The Cuckoo's Egg by Cliff Stoll. It is an excellent book about cyber theft by East Germany against the USA. The USA was ridiculously stupid about the whole thing leaving Cliff to take on this on behalf of the government. The US Gov. did not believe him, that they were being hacked. They were arrogant and stupid.
