People tend to be unkind when they are threatened with the end of a relationship they wanted! Especially if there are kids.... You hardly recognize otherwise level headed folks then... Unfortunately, it's tough to convince many to tread more gently, regardless of what the provocations may be like adultery or just plain incompatible situations by that stage... When hurt, the reaction is to hurt back.... And regret later.... Hopefully our heart stops more of this and tries to find a more equitable solution! No one wins when it's come to a breakup... However.... We can find ways to proceed that don't require war and tear'n each other down for the sake of the feelings we Once had and the outcome we agree to work on together! It's always a group effort even if you feel less supported than you Need.... Time and choices Can mitigate Much of the bruise'n at that point if you're determined to exit as well as possible... You'll find more respect and relief if you do! Hope life has rebalanced and you are feel'n happier... 😎
