Correct. People without high education were considered low class citizens. As a result people were getting JUST a high education. For a diploma. And never worked as a specialist later. For instance an engineer ( any engineer) was getting a very low salary, so nobody wanted to work as one, as a result it was great demand in engineers, so there were always more places than applicants. So if a person wanted high education for a status they just became engineer, never worked later. But getting into medical field or foreign language field was very difficult, there were usually 20 applicants for 1 place.

It was not CHEAPER. To buy lada in ussr u had to be a privileged veteran or a political leader, the rest were waiting in queues for decades
5
Yeah, i was born in ussr, i confirm. And now some losers are nostalgic about that misery and want to bring it onto others
4
In ussr there were NO SHOES PERIOD. Once i remember when i was at school snow came yearly and i had no winter shoes, just sandals, because i grew out of last year and there was nowhere to buy. And a teacher had audacity to make fun of me. Both parents worked, so not like we had no money to buy. There was nothing to buy

@diegorivera6500 i have no idea about your poor undeveloped country spain, was there once didnt like it with gusto, but in northern Europe like Finland strawberry, blueberry all year round, oranges , bananas all year round and very cheap and i m not even mentioning apples and pears and tomatoes etc. many varieties and cheap covid or no covid. We have spanish fruits and vegs as well - very cheap , tasteless and low quality

Wasn’t it already Gorbqtchev’s time? I dont remember anymore when was he, but during Gorbatchev it became easy to go abroad and this is how i managed to leave the toilet country called ussr
2
As a former ussr citizen who could escape that toilet country during Michael Gorbatchev time ( thank you Michael, RIP) i am wondering how could anyone travel to western countries at that time. Only to socialist countries and only in groups. So i do not believe your russki’s story
2
As a former citizen of ussr - nobody went anywhere. Only party leaders. The rest of us cattle were poor, starving and had no cloths. The only memories about my horrible childhood are of misery and hunger and being cold. And i was living in Yalta, Crimea, which is on the shore and has no minus degrees in winter. I can only imagine how much more miserable was the rest of the cattle. And now dictator putler wants to return that misery back and cattle is not fighting back. Well, cattle never fights, just goes in silence for slaughter

I love Dostoevsky, read all of his masterpieces, the only russian writer which is readable. The rest of them SUCK. Anywho WHERE exactly did u take that quote from?
2
@ComradeHellas only russki bots for 15 rupla

@maxheadrom3088 another russian bot. What is good in their education? That nobody can speak any foreign language?
1
@truthisbeautiful7492 there was nothing to teach - there was NO religion, going to church was PROHIBITED. If someone saw u in church u would be ostracized. Only old grandmas were seen next to it

I spent my childhood in that toilet country called ussr. No matter how hard they tried to brainwash me with their toilet propaganda I wanted to leave the toilet since i was 6 years old. Believe it or not. That was the main reason I started learning English. Nobody could speak any foreign language in that toilet country at that time, education or not.
1
For those women who WANTED to remain on the work force? 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣NOBODY was asking those women what they wanted. They were DEMANDED to work. Soviet is a slavery state. Nobody asks slaves what they want
1
U can go to north korea if u re fascinated with dump like ussr. I was born in that toilet country - nothing fun. Robbed of childhood
1

@diecksl there was a documentary about china. They are DIRT POOR. The people are more poor than they were in ussr. There is no medical care, no education, just misery. What u see it us just a few people on top. Like in ussr - party elite. So their economy means NOTHING for people
1
