  2. 2000 acres for 200,000 homes? You can do the same with Coal fired power plants and only need around 10 acres or so. Not 2000!! WTH?

  3. Tesla makes the best EV's and Toyota makes the best Hybrids as they use Nickle Hydride batteries which are known to last a long time as most of them have been in service for over 20 years with no problems and those that need repair can be repaired on the cheap.

  7. The future? Back to the future as EV's were first long before any IC car. IT was the IC car that was invented to replace the EV. And it did. Why? Because of the batteries. Same problem as current day. Batteries.

  8. 300 miles of range? What? Not Hwy miles. The model Y I rented went from 92SOC down to 26SOC in 91 miles at 85 mph HWY. Once you get down to the 20's SOC you are looking for a charger.

  16. Another EV fire yesterday in Colorado. Tesla catches on fire in Douglas County, closes part of Highway 83. Horrible! No one knows why it happened.

  36. The only reason they were able to get over 100 miles per charge was because they were in the slow lane and not using as much of a charge. Also. There appears to be no standard for charge rating. EG 90 SOC down to 20SOC at 100kmph post the range or something like that. There needs to be some kind of IEEE or ANSI established standard for miles rating.
