  1. VW has a bad reputation for reliability here in USA.. Same for Audi, Mercedes, and BMW.  This reputation has been earned.

  4. Only Lincoln/Ford and Lexus/Toyota have good reliability here in USA.. All other cars have shit records for reliability.
