  1. A shame that the child isn't going to have their chance on the ride because they'll be stuck with an elderly mother in their teens. More like don't be afraid to not be self-centered and stuck on yourself. I guess for some people a child is just another accessory serving their main character syndrome.

  2. Nah you told them to work hard for a company and they'll succeed. You've told them to print out resumes and go into businesses and ask if they're hiring. You told them stories about when you were young how you had a paper route and started working when you 15 under the table at wherever tf. You gave meaningless platitude after platitude and never stopped to consider that you grew up under favorable economic conditions that just don't exist now. But sure it's their fault for not listening to you ramble.

Falling upward in an economic context of opportunity and now faulting everyone else for not doing the same while thinking they did some great thing when literally everything was set up for them to succeed. Incredible. Imagine saying pension and thinking you have anything to offer now.
