  1. Signs definitely point to him hating everything FSF and everything having to do with it, primarily RMS. A brief search turned up an interesting post from Roy Schestowitz archived at Techrights: Drew DeVault Has Lost The Plot - "My personal interpretation of this (since June when he tried to "reform" the message) is that he's just jealous and frustrated that his anti-FSF thing did not take off. Trying to 'pull an OSI' 25 years later (after failing to be elected at the OSI) was a losing proposition." I don't have a major stake in this and have only heard of DDV today, but him being performatively crusader-y and social warriorish tells me all I need to know. I should be hearing about him because of how great Hare supposedly is, not because he has hatewood for RMS and indeed, anyone not conforming to DDV.
