Comments by "D. R. Stewart" (@drstewart) on "New Leak: Red Hat CEO states racist hiring goals at company meeting" video.
This fits in perfectly with the DEI component of ESG. It's present here because Red Hat is the corporate flavor of Linux and all corporations will be brought to heel with these goals. Whether in public or in private.

@Falsechicken Shh, you'll interrupt the uplifting narrative of righteous oppression.

When Linus was reeducated, it was a very bad sign.

@mashtonish No, it's because identity-based quotas and coded language such as equity over equality, representation, POC, ADOS, and diversity defined as anything comprised of members of anybody but {one group} come from the left. Also yes, if one's skin color serves as a strike against them, while being a major plus for another person not of that skin color, that actually does mean that it takes away from one person's likelihood to get hired somewhere. There are hiring practices that prioritize members of certain categories to the detriment of other categories. It's not acceptable, and is racism plainly. It's still a bad thing if it's aimed at the group that is socially acceptable to hate.

@LovePixels You're attempting to destabilize discussion of valid issues by invalidation of lived experience. You need to listen. Again, fake positivity guy, do better.
4
@LovePixels Did you know that considering opinions that you disagree with is incredibly good for you and prevents you from being a manipulated, ideologically vacuous sack of hot air?
4
@LovePixels You're attempting to antagonize by distracting and derailing the conversation with irrelevant things. There's more to life than getting mad when people don't agree with your fake, toxic positivity.
3
@LovePixels Avoiding the issue at hand isn't a brighter note, fake positivity guy. Again, the trolling is revealing how ingenuine you truly are.
3
@LovePixels With toxic trolling like yours, we could all use genuine love and authenticity in our lives. 🖕 It's ironic that you're riding with this fake trolling so hard. You'd be the guy IRL to talk about how everyone needs to be inclusive and hold space for differing views lol.
3
@LovePixels You don't have an ability to be real about your values and give the weakest of explanations when you're trying to engage someone who disagrees with you? That's why you're trolling isn't it? To teach all the unenlightened meanies a lesson on how they're wrong and be irritating while invalidating them with irrelevance?
3
@LovePixels Authenticity and being genuine are always in season. Well, not for the fake positivity types I guess. They're always pretty fake and toxic.
3
@LovePixels Oh so you've gone from trolling to actually spamming? How enlightened and loving of you. I'm sure he'd love to know that his "friend" acts so poorly.
3
@ich6885 I'm glad you're showing what a false correlation is by your premise, it makes discussing it easier. But that's the thing, you're not asking questions. You've already decided that it is due to bias and it needs to be corrected by racist hiring policy. No, introducing a quota doesn't make sense. If hiring by skin color is wrong for one group, then it's also wrong when it applies to another group because it's the same racist criteria, only for a group you want to root for. Can't cure (assumed) racism with racism. Doesn't work that way. Then, who's the arbiter of how a racial quota should look? When should the racial prioritization stop? A decade? Four? 400 years if we're being really petty? No. Chances aren't equal. For anyone. When skill is (or should be) the determining factor, not everyone will have or even want to have the same skill in a given position. That's not some sort of unconscious bias nonsense, that's simply fact. But the solution to that isn't to make chances even less equal based on skin tone. You seem to be both for and against racism depending on who it's aimed at. Which is pretty typical in this line of thinking tbh. Let's also ask why the NBA doesn't reflect the racial distribution in the country as well. After the brick layers and sanitation workers, that is. Does it keep you up at night as much? Are you so deeply concerned there?
3
@LovePixels Dude take your weirdo toxic positivity somewhere else. You're a stereotype of a fake affirming "enlightened" guy who thinks that everyone who doesn't agree with your worldview is hateful.
2
@LovePixels How dare you say Christmas, fake positivity guy!? That's not inclusive of people of non-Christian faiths! Do better.
2
@LovePixels On a more genuine note, what does it feel like to be fake and unable to engage an issue with the rest of the grown ups in the comments?
2
@LovePixels Right, because they're talking about taco supremacy on shortwave radio. See, you can't even be genuine when it comes to something you supposedly stand for. What's it feel like to be that insubstantial? Can't relate.
2
@_unknown_guy 😆The music was the biggest red flag. I know it's good practice to not feed the trolls. Sometimes I think that engagement gives a chance for vacant ideology to be examined though. To varying results perhaps.
2
@ich6885 The idea that ethnic distribution in the company should mirror that in the country is a false premise. It totally fails to take into account skill or education, both of which are outsized considerations over and above racial quotas. Also, if skin color is to be uncorrelated with workplace, then why is the push for racial quotas in a hiring context something you're using as a factor for fairness? You can't have it both ways.
2
@ovdeathiam True. Much like identity-based arguments in other employment sectors, there are only deep concerns in lucrative areas like tech. No one's checking the racial composition of bricklayers or sanitation workers.
2
@LovePixels GFY.

@LovePixels Again with the fakeness. No, you've been at this attempted distraction and invalidation for at least 6 hours. Don't try the aloof, unbothered ploy because your motivations are very apparent. Every comment that brings up the genuine issues being discussed, namely those of the injustice of identity-based quotas here you come trying to distract and pretending it's about positive community. No, it's about the absolute tyranny of your worldview and how anyone who deviates from it is hateful and they need your version of so-called positivity. You're the reason that people cringe when anything remotely progressive is brought up. Because you're a fake person with this passive aggressive streak saying you love everyone, but if someone doesn't love exactly as you think they should or think or act according to your toxicity, you need to correct and educate them to your view. Have some integrity for once.
1
@LovePixels You don't have the ability to be relevant to the issue at hand? So typical of fake, toxic positivity types who are all about the inclusion and so-called love but you'd better not disagree with any of their views. No because then you'll need to be corrected. Oh and the whole fake "bringing positivity and community" bs is pretty typical as well. A "community" must focus on, and take the shape of whatever your view is. This channel already has a community. That's another stark difference between real, organic community and your fake, toxic version. Yours is simply a diktat according to your own social values. Keep trolling fake man. All you're doing is showing everyone why they're correct in their disagreement with you.
1
@LovePixels Oh now you're referencing sexual innuendo where children could see it. Gross, fake positivity guy. Sounds like you're grooming...
1
@LovePixels Careful fake positivity man, you might be genuine for a second and reveal too much of yourself. After all, Reviewbrah is very much against bait and switch types like yourself. But how dare you listen to a non-diverse radio show? After all, shortwave is home to many programs you'd vilify! You're aiding supremacy!
1
@LovePixels I'm not friends with fake people. You really trolled on each and every comment on this video and spent two hours trolling me and now you want to offer some fake sorrow over how I can't be chill with you?? You can't be serious. It's unfortunate that you think after being an absolute jerk to everyone on this video except for one or two people who agree with your self-righteous worldview that you're owed some sort of consideration. Again fake positivity man, GFY for real.
1
@jamesnurtec2734 NO BRO U Fake positivity man really took hours and hours to troll every comment on this page because he disagreed with them and chose to throw a tantrum instead, and I'm hateful and bullying? Are you mentally ill?
1
@jamesnurtec2734 EDGYBOI! No, I don't need to consider maybes when his stated intent was to bring his version of positivity and distraction because people agreeing with the premise of the video were being so "hateful." You can read, right? Because this was his motivations stated under a different comment: " I feel like this place could desperately use some positivity (there’s a lot of anger/hate on here). Hence why I’m asking about people’s music and hobbies. I’m trying to bring people back down-to-earth, if you will — and getting people to remember that there’s more to life than getting angry about a company you don’t work for." Trying to make a friend? GTFOH So maybe before you tell me the trendy internet thing of touching grass (such a smart guy thinking in played out memes!) you should learn to think for yourself, evaluate a claim, and stop trying to reward disruptive behavior. Tantrums don't get rewarded. That reinforces bad behavior and facilitates abusive people like fake positivity guy and yourself.

For anyone reading this thread later, it's cute that YouTube deleted about half of my responses for "bullying" a troll who kept engaging me and everyone else on this video with irrelevant discussion because he decided that there was too much "hate" (meaning disagreement with his political worldview) here, and he needed to be a trouble causing jerk. There was no bullying for LovePixels nor his soy defender jamesnurtec2734. This is what it's coming to. The people doing the accusing are guilty of their own accusations.
