Tax the rich, including all the rich in India, China etc. Spend the money helping the kids. Easy.
8
Not listening to Talk radio helps, dude. Trust me, after an hour of these clowns I want to change my name to Eeyore.
4
Us leftists have been telling you for years to tax them and this wouldn't have happened. Even Conservatives in the past understood how parasitic and destructive big business gets. But noooo... complain that anyone who wants to tax billionaires is a 'Marxist', then whine about how billionaires get away with murder.
4
So if we stop pregnancy testing then no one will get pregnant?
4
Not very nice calling our Prime Minister a sea gull.
3
@Les-OZZYTHEOSCAR Sheep dip.
3
Think the idea is to not infect much of the population with the mange, therefore ensuring the economy tanks anyway.
3
Stop voting in Tories. Is pretty simple. There's at least three opposition parties to choose from.
3
Florida had thousands die of the Rona, despite having a lower population density than the UK and a more affable healthy climate.
2
Talk Radio is a propaganda network for rich vermin to spread their drivel.
2
No it isn't. Let's go through this. Say you get in the shower and have a shower curtain. A water molecule is far smaller than a virus. Hence if your contention is correct water molecules would diffuse through the shower curtain and it would be 100% useless and every shower you took would drench the bathroom. In reality water is in droplets which are quite large and viruses are transported on droplets, the mask reduces the number of droplets being released into the air. T0y it. Put a mask on and cough on your arm. Is it wet? No.
2
@jasong5696 And the virus. The lack of humanity in these comments really disturbs me.
2
No they're not. You're believing Facebook meme drivel. There may be a couple of cases (as happens with anything) but the jabs aren't killing thousands. Unlike the Rona, which has killed 3+ million.
2
Spoilers: they work. That's why surgeons, vets, semiconductor workers, clean-room engineers and the like wear them. Be honest, if two years ago you went in for an operation and the surgeon is standing there with no mask on coughing, would you have done anything other than freak out?
2
Yes, Jezza spends money on the NHS, enacts the pandemic response, throws cash at broadband to improve work-from-home... we'd have had far less dead, it would have been awesome.
2
The word is 'damn', mate which indicates you didn't pay attention in class.
2
@coolcat6103 No they don't. But here's the funny thing. If you're British and under 100 years old do you know one thing you did as a kid? Went to a pantomime. Pretty much all pantomimes have the lead 'older female' parts played by drag queens and the 'principle boy' parts played by a girl. And everyone had a laugh and no one was hurt.
2
Is Universal Credit now. The days of signing on have been replaced with Internet-based spying and stress-inducing bureaucrats hassling you.
2
Well you know we did have Jezza and the press decided to destroy him. So we ended up with Borisballsupbrexit Johnson and his merry men.
2
@josephverdins6921 Is funny though have Boris has successfully managed to screw things up far worse than even the pessimists suggested Jezza would do. Special bonus points for Boris sucking up to the Russians and making one a Lord while Tories rant about Labour being traitors. Haha.
2
Well not really. If that was the case then flu would have died out centuries ago but we see some flu viruses are average, some weak and some really nasty.
2
@josephverdins6921 I just posted the sage members list off the Governments web site. Is this not a fact? How about the link featuring JhB's most stupid covid statements (things she actually said). All fact. Send list and I'll say hello to the charmers there.
2
She clearly isn't talking sense, she's another 'lets downplay the pandemic' goblin and a disgrace to Christianity.
2
You do understand the jabs have had phase 1,2 and 3 clinical trials involving thousands of people in many different countries?
2
What, you might get a headache and feel tired for the day?
2
@extraspicywasabi Or you can tell me what heavy metals you're talking about.
2
Funnily enough pre-vaccines, back in 1918 the flu first hit the elderly then it hammered the young. So it does happen.
2
@alexbell8687 Is actually the other way round. If people get covid and die after 28 days then the government doesn't list it as covid. Hence if someone like Derek Draper was to pass on, he wouldn't be listed as a Rona victim despite his medical problems being entirely due to Rona damage.
2
Yes, and we also have plenty of diseases that kill us even with one. That's why we also have antibiotics, antivirals and vaccines.
1
Helllooo, Met Police, we have a threat here, my loves...
1
You must be fun on Halloween.
1
Yes, is fine. Schools should also look at long-term options such as air filtration, copper bathroom fittings etc. That way we can make the kids healthier (for example C02 build-up in confined spaces can cause minor cognitive problems - air filtration can reduce that) in general even after the Rona has gone. Win, win.
1
@michaelgriffin2741 Do you even know what a lobotomy is? Are you suggesting wearing a face mask is the same as someone ramming a metal implement up your nose and chopping out parts of your brain?
1
@garrylovesey6810 What about the parents who want masks?
1
You can find all the information showing them and growth online. I'd link it here but imps keep chopping my comments.
1
@latchdoorlatch996 Is because your friend sees that most restrictions are gone and life is pretty similar to normal. Some problems remaining with mass-attendance type industries and we can sort that and help those employees until things are safe and stable.
1
Evidence being whatever Facebook memes you found last Tuesday?
1
@deniseisherwood6361 If that was true then we'd have been seeing lots of sick doctors, nurses, engineers, microbiologists and the like over the past 30 years. We don't. As for saying the kids are uniquely at risk, that doesn't seem to be the case either if those kids I see every Halloween with their faces covered up in costumes are anything to go by.
1
@NA-bm7ep Lol. Why do you lot think anyone normal is a military intelligence agent? Is it because you're scared of being rumbled by intelligence agents for being an orchestrated disinformation campaign?
1
Ummm, you know people can travel don't you? I was talking to an American lad the other day. He's in Britain working for a few months. Done his quarantine thing and now he's out and about.
1
@oscarwoodburn6360 No worries, that does indeed suck. As I've said on here before they should have made the tests free and supported people who had to quarantine & really should take in account family circumstances where appropriate. Hope you can see your missus soon, dude.
1
Without vaccines you'll end up with sick workers and sick customers thereby leading to less work.
1
@ViralKiller They clearly do work and the Rona variants have been around for a while - an early one was from last summer in Spain which British tourists helpfully brought back to the UK.
1
@ViralKiller We're already pretty much open.
1
Nigel -- Because a) The government are idiots b) Only half the population has been vaccinated c) Social distancing and masks are an easy way of protecting people.
1
@frankbutcher2601 37000 dead and currently the highest number of infections in the US. Plus comically California appears to have come out of things in a better financial position than Florida.
1
Nigel -- Well no, flights from India were idiotic, but Boris needed his trade deal, so...
1
@frankbutcher2601 What part is lies? Florida had huge Rona problems and their economy isn't the best.
1
What do you want them to call it? A blow-up? A viral ejaculation? A Rona volcano?
1
Is France riddled with quality Indian rona, then?
