@JLVisions you didn't built the US, you people need to stop saying that. You couldn't even build your own cities. What you all were cattle, used like cows and bulls, to work in farmlands, because of the British and French, sold by your own people. The Asians built the rail roads, brought here the same way as the Africans, yet they have better lives than you all, the Spanish were the original cowboys and look they built half of Florida, and half the south west were you all go for vacation, and the Irish build the sky scrapers, so you see you all aren't special, just another cog in the machine to make America.

@JLVisions go ahead keep making excuses to make yourself feel better, read a book look at the bigger picture of history. @akielsappleton6019 do you know what was the life span of a white man in Africa back then, not having any antibiotics or any type of medication for injuries, at most 1-3 months, it took a month back then just to set everything up so how can they go in the villages and say "Gotcha" when it took them months to just go and come back, I'm not saying you are wrong but most likely at least 30% were caught that I can give you, simple fact where there is water there is life, and most villages need some sort of water to thrive. Docking a boat on the western coast was very hard work, and then going into the jungle was even more, so they had to get help and translators to get their cargo.

@Joseph C That's exactly what I'm saying, no one race didn't make the U.S what it is. The Brits had the colonies but didn't have the territory, the Mexicans own some, the French owned others, the Spaniards as well, hell even Russia owned some. What divided us was the idea of what we would become if we United. This United States was formed for the people, the ones who wanted to keep things how it was all the way during the Jim crow and even some to this day were the people that didn't want to let go of their easy lives of the backs and sweat of others, some people still haven't understood that the ones that are crying racist are the same ones that have been back stabbing them in the back, Malcolm X said it best. You think that if the south won the civil war and they almost did things would be different from now, cause I can assure you that none of us would be here, them Dixiecrats would still be doing what they do best, well technically they still are just more covertly. I'm not here to argue with people, I just look at how reality truly is. Most people can't think pass their hands because they need to survive until to see the next day. But how are we as country can grow if we don't know our pass, so that we don't repeat them again. Orwell said it best, it was something along the lines of "whoever controls the past, controls the future, whoever controls the future, controls the present" or something along those lines, I'm paraphrasing of course.

@Joseph C I'm not saying that, just that they didn't have mega structures like the Incas did. Some African tribes have profound knowledge of the stars more than modern scientists now.

@Cel Mac noone is denying that it was of the backs of slaves but you got to understand the US was formed after 1776 before that it was British and French and Spanish, and Mexican territories, as well as Native American, they all had slaves that they bought from the slave trade, and how only about 20% of that came to this part of the US with the majority hitting South America, but to say that one race did it all is lunacy, history tells you that. Yet every race that were at one point slaves have thrived after the fact, yet blacks have been shoved down, kicked, punched, lynched and made to think that they were less than others, and that's what bothers me. It's been forever that they have been 12-13% of the population and they were the 3rd longest people here, don't you find that awkward. How 12% have so much influence on a nation but are also the slowest to grow, yet the same people that enslaved them tell them lies every 2-4 years and they believe them, hell even Obama the car salesman talked a good game and did nothing for "His people" that put him in power.

@akielsappleton6019 do you really believe what you are saying, those same tribes that had slaves sold them to the Brits, not because "They can do stuff" but because they were a commodity, property for them to do what they wish, so they sold them off for profit, I get that it's not what you want to hear because the truth hurts but it's necessary to stop the killing of each other over bullshit, you address one thing with another issue but can't answer why, you are being told what to think not how to think, and ask the right questions about why everyone has passed the black people and have had less time in the states.

@Joseph C Most were tricked some were looking for a better life but in the end they suffered just like the blacks unfortunately, in the mines, building the railroads and getting pushed around in the nearest ports, which back then it would be San Fran, then they migrated out into the rest of the US.

@Joseph C Yeah but you got to understand that is what was like back in those days, yes it sucked, yes the 1% of everyone rule over the rest and it still does, hell even the Brits had their form on punishment for people that let them to choose whether to go to jail, join the Navy by force or come to the states work off your sentence then you are free to stay In the colonies or find you own way back. The 1% has been ruling everything since the days of Mesopotamia, but until us, we, people do what they did to the French monarchs and the guillotine, things won't change. People are going to complain about everything, and they are programmed for that now, we all eat the crumbs of the 1% table and it shouldn't be like that, that's why I keep saying we should all learn from each other and thrive knowing our past, controlling our present and fighting for our future as 1, not bickering about who had it worse, that doesn't solve anything but cause for conflict and that's what the rulling class counts on.

@Joseph C Before the Spaniards came to the Americas, the natives Inca, Mayan and so forth were at constant war with each other, difference from the tribes in Africa is that the Incas and Mayans had super civilizations for their times, they had giant building like structures and aqueducts to bring in from the rivers for the farms and human waste, they were pretty advanced. In Africa it took Alexander the great to come and conquer most of not all of Egypt to further advance the land he loved, that's why he was so loved over there, and hated by the old ruling class because he looked like a God to them coming into town with a golf chariot.
