  2. Manchin is only responding to what the majority of West Virginians want . Personally , he doesn't really care , just like all other Senators . They're all interested in securing reelection . Thank his constituency , not him .

  3. Stop congratulating Manchin - congratulate his constituency instead ! Manchin , like all other Senators , places reelection above everything else . Put him in a liberal state and he'd vote for that bill 20 times over !

  5. No Senator does what is right for the country . First , and foremost , Senators seek to win reelection . West Virginians are predominantly AGAINST the BBB bill , hence Manchin's stance . Simple as that .

  6. I wouldn't personally benefit financially in any way from BBB , whereas most West Virginians would , so I have to congratulate them for putting our debt above their own interests. If we all did that , we'd have a more self- reliant nation .
