  1. "Ahead" is a premature call considering how China's 5G has not been economical to operate: their antennas consume at least double the electricity to provide a noticeable speed boost. The Chinese telcom companies are known to schedule regular shutdowns of its 5G service because their early models are such a money drain, while the European competitors have been more focused on first making them more power efficient and worth implementing.
