  1.  @starfox300 As we start regularly climbing into high performance vehicles like aircraft, exoskeletons, and eventually rockets, larger sizes especially height becomes a disadvantage. Taller folks aren’t as tolerant of g-force changes due to the longer distance from heart to brain.

  2. Yet we’re compelled to buckle seat belts and surround ourselves with airbags and crumple zones on a regular basis. It will only get more cramped as we want to go places faster, but the laws of physics make meatspace an exponential expense as we experience nowadays in fairly gentle subsonic airline seats.
