  1. Fixing America first requires an overhaul of our voting system, abolishing winner-take-all in favor of ranked-choice polling nationwide. That way third parties become viable contenders to the two-party duopoly that our current first-past-the-post system naturally converges on, while also disincentivizing the trend towards the extremes, especially considering the regular governance sabotage from the easily-terrorized (and thus mobilized) traditionalists. Once real disruptors to the bought-out established parties are able to gain representative power, we can begin to separate money from elections and all the corrupted considerations, deliberate inefficiencies, and overlooked wastage that brings between campaigns. Only when thoughts instead of dollars dominate our public discourse will we be able to truly progress from trying to relive has-been conditions towards where our country ought to be as "a more perfect Union".
