  1. "Multipolar" just means multiple fault lines of conflict. The reason Pax Romana, Pax Mongolica, Pax Britannica, and Pax Americana are named after a single power is because enforcing security over like a third of humanity at the time allowed cross-cultural trade to thrive. America is relatively tolerant and agnostic compared to the ethnostate alternatives. A "multipolar" world would just end up more violent because so much of the world isn't natively born and has no hope to naturalize and assimilate into their hegemon society, leading to more civil wars to change that leadership which fractures trade routes and disrupts peaceable commerce entirely.
