The only genius is his ability to pitch sales and a futurist narrative. Everything else he bought ownership over. Musk is more like Edison: a single face and name taking permanent credit for all the innumerable engineers he’s temporarily paid to keep quiet.

@ryelor123 There’s still central administration over the network, which means a single point of failure if someone hacks into the leadership nodes and quietly changes the underlying policies. It’s not like say cryptocurrencies which are generally open source, and are decentralized to the point that enough nodes have to vote themselves into a new protocol before it can take effect.
