  1. NATO is a defensive pact though. Hence why NATO was only a force in Afghanistan where Article 5 got invoked, but purely optional everywhere else America and Britain and France have their military adventures (like how the US was not permitted to invade Iraq from Türkiye).

  3. ​ @jaguarmemez Change "for the better" is in the eye of the beholder. Obama detractors were quick to point that "change" is not necessarily favorable for them, hence the surge of organized (and overwhelmingly white supremacist) militia groups.
