  1. Unfortunately there is a minimum level of sympathy needed to compensate for otherwise wasteful wars. Every culture has this threshold. Bengali blood and shared Islamic faith already fail at bringing more aid; pitching the vague concept of humanity would only anger those who would otherwise personally lose a parent, sibling, or child to an offensive land war against someone else's home turf.
