Africans might be a big one, since the continent is flooded with Mainlander media, even poorer communities are easily found at home, and their visitors to China don't really have reason to go beyond the major cities. They do see BRI projects falling apart in their own country, but might not be convinced things are just as bad in China unless they travel back and forth regularly over a long time.

  2. More like YouTube is taking social engineering directives from China. Content creators regularly mention how their videos with any unflattering Mainland clips get demonetized, age-restricted, or generate strikes against the channel, while more provocative ones against anyone else are still easily found and offered to feeds.
