Except Germany wasn't as dependent on American agriculture to literally feed itself, and their narrative of happiness through pure economic prosperity falls flat on Westerners who are undergoing more emotion-based shifts in culture. The main danger is that China might be peaking in its potential to secure its interests before it begins stalling from the Party's own unintended promotion of aging, debts, and pollution, so it has to strike soon before the iron cools down forever.
