  2. Family sizes are shrinking worldwide, including in the faithful pro-natal Africa and Middle East. Children are just getting too expensive to raise to productivity, while birth control keeps becoming easier to get.

  3. ​ @GameFuMaster That minimalism also includes family size. Children are a huge drain of time and money until they're likewise educated enough to enter their own self-sustained career paths 20+ years later. Notice how practically all the FIRE folks are childless.
