There seems to be a definite inflation of expectations among women who largely still seek hypergamy. In fact there's dating app data indicating an overwhelming female gaze towards the top 20% of men, while dudes maintain a more balanced view in rating attractiveness.

I don't know about "waiting" so much as not being able to attract a committed wife until they're more financially established past their 20s. That's on top of women rejecting all the annoying warnings that their window to start a family (at least cheaply without IVF) is approaching quicker than they expect.

That partly explains why mothers who started young also tend to have more children: besides more fertile time, there's also a mental barrier against having more children that gets broken.

Right, the elite rich don't "earn" that much compared to already owning it, living off the interest and cycling through personal loans borrowed against their privileged corporate shares.

Yes, a corporate-run economy that values individuals they can move at their convenience, and hates dependents who demand time and effort the worker could otherwise be producing for the company, isn't going to be sustainable without constant outside input (i.e. immigrants).

It needs to be though. WFH cottage industries was the pre-factory norm, and factories are only getting more automated. There's no technical barrier to WFH on routine office tasks, just organizational ones.
