It's 50 or 60 Hz depending on the grid (or 400 in aircraft and some other specialized applications). Also it's not the battery that maintains sync with utility power, it's the inverter -- most solar installations have no battery backup of their own, just whatever automatic voltage regulation capabilities its associated inverter can do.
