  1. As a passenger liner it's a masterpiece and a favorite of frequent fliers. But Airbus failed to account for the human ability to tolerate habitation in what is basically retrofitted storage space, especially if it saves money in what is almost always a less than 24-hour experience. Having been built around passengers, it lacks the physical flexibility and the thrust-to-weight ratio needed to make a cargo version competitive -- it'd be like asking a cruise ship to take on shipping containers.
