  1. Right, those calls to unconditionally "Free Palestine" pose a very real threat for millions of Jews there who could quickly end up as a second-class jizya-taxed dhimmi minority in a (likely still conflict-filled) Islamist state.

  2. That's because the balance of power is heavily stacked against Israel, since the Palestinian cause has a continent worth of Islamist states to draw support from. The whole video illustrates how vulnerable Israel is with the space it is left with should they evacuate the occupied lands of their neighbors.

  3. The promise of quick decisive solutions is how politicians gather domestic support. It doesn't matter how feasible it is to achieve as long as their people believe them.

  4. Palestinians want to be Palestinian in a Muslim state, not Israeli in a Jewish state. What comprises Israel and Palestine would have to transform into something fully agnostic to religion that also respects the rights of minorities, which would be unlikely given the characteristically evangelical and expansionist Islam of its majority coupled with the historically violent dispute resolution process of the Middle East. The closest analogue to such a one-state solution would be Indonesia, which had instituted itself as multi-faith nation. But even then there continues to be a lot of social tensions (occasionally with organized violence) between its Indo-Malay Muslim majority and the various other faiths and ethnicities in the country.
