  1. Yes, and gators can move quickly from one body of water to another. Basically, in Florida is there’s water, there could be an alligator. I remember reading about a young woman eating her lunch on the grass along a canal. Gator got her.

  2. @ I guess no one expects an alligator will attack them. Personally, I won’t live in a state, like Florida, South Carolina or Louisiana, at least not anywhere near water, where there are alligators. I’m a scaredy-cat .
