At the Prado, for Pete’s sake, the old man selling tickets refused to give us the senior discount because Bush was our country’s president.   50. Governor Lee doesn’t want federal money. They won’t expand Medicaid, either, despite the federal government paying 100% for three years, and 80% thereafter. Republicans just think poor people are lazy, and don’t deserve help. By the way, schools in poorer areas in this state send food —cereal, etc.—home with kids for weekends, so they and their siblings won’t go without food all weekend.
