  1. I used to volunteer with an agency that helped poor and homeless people in various ways. One day, a handsome, well-dressed 19-year-old man told me that when he looked at people (probably including me), he saw them riddled with bullet holes, or stabbed. It scared him badly. That’s schizophrenia.

  3. I wonder what parents or friends can actually do when they’re worried that someone is potentially dangerous? Unless they are saying they’re going to kill themselves or someone else, I doubt police could or would do anything about it.
