  1. I also read the minutes of the school board meeting; everyone who is interested should. School board members are elected, and that means that there is no requirement that board members be educated or intelligent. In fact, here in Tennessee, judges are elected, so the elections are, basically, popularity contests, especially in rural communities.

  2.  @ronrolph  Hard to argue that an historic, violent breach of the U.S. Capitol with intent to seize and harm elected officials, and overturn a democratic election, is less serious than economic damage, especially when most BLM protests were peaceful.
