  2. Maybe because this was the second trial. The first trial judge was an addict, really strung out, and every trial he presided over had to be retried.

  4.  @angelapyle7301  I live right outside Knoxville and saw it on the news and in the Knoxville paper. The first judge was highly respected, but it was discovered that he was addicted to opioids, many a day, and all of his cases going back to when he started using had to be retried. A real mess.

  5. Wow, the comments from people who say they wouldn’t do anything, even if they heard the cries, are horrifying. The least someone should do is call the police to check the house.
