  2. If you're planning on renouncing u.s. citizenship? Make sure you can collect s.s.? Research countries that are allowed u.s. entry without a lengthy visa process? Chile comes to mind. I'm in Costa Rica. Seriously considering Ecuador. God bless you.

I found that Ecuador offers the immigrant applicant ( retiree / investor ) to include dependents in the residency process for an additional fee. Allowing them residency status. If you have higher education a professional visa program is doable.
