  1. The housing problem may be difficult but the government have never made an effort on this. Boris may say he wants to get people on benefits the opportunity to buy houses but that's blather. It's not going to happen unless there are lending institutions willing to lend to those people and I can't imagine that they will. Nigel is always good on negatives but he never proposes any positive solutions.
